We at Neighborhood Movers understand that moving can be a stressful task.  We understand that everyone has their individual needs.  We have guidelines in place to make it smoother for you and protecting your belongings is our top priority.  We use top quality, clean moving blankets and we wrap fragile items such as an armoire or a leather couch in a way that it will not damage.  In moving glass hutches, we use moving blankets and then we apply cardboard on the side of the glass to reinforce it.  In addition, we use door jam and railing protectors to alleviate dents and scratching in your home.

 

We have packing crews available to pack all of your belongings or just a part of it - you decide.  All Neighborhood Movers employees are trained to be movers.  There will always be a team lead leading the crew to your satisfaction.  All of our employees are bonded, uniformed and know the meaning of customer service.

 

Many factors determine the cost of a move. Whether we are moving grandma’s favorite chair or the mansion on the hill, we will work within your budget.  Luckily, many of those factors are within your control.  For example, how ready are you when the movers arrive?  Are all your belongings packed in boxes?  Can the truck park close to your home?  How much packing, unpacking and furniture placement would you like the movers to do for you?  The more information you provide to your mover prior to your move date, the better your chances are of having a smooth move within your budget.

The cost for moves is based on the number of movers, the time it takes to pack, move your belongings and the travel time.

 

Once you have booked with Neighborhood Movers, we will send you a confirmation letter containing the move description, hourly rate, number of workers, the date we will move you.  In addition, 2 days prior to the move, we will call you to remind you of the time of the move.
